At a height of 24-30″ tall, this coneflower is nice with Ornamental Grasses, Lavender, Agastache, and Monarda. Drought tolerant once established. Deer will generally stay away. Pollinator-friendly, this is a must-have native for the summer garden. Cut flowers for bouquets, and deadhead spent flowers to encourage more growth – but be sure to leave some blooms to dry as the birds love the seeds.
